For over 85 years, BGC has been giving children and youth what they deserve: a place to belong when they aren’t at home or in school. We are happy to be a small part of the initiative with a donation.

Festival of Trees

This year we sponsored a tree in support of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation for Cancer Research. Our team of elves designed the tree. Last year we won first prize so the heat was on!

Wildfire Relief

BC Wildfire Relief Charity

British Columbia is experiencing its worst wildfire season in recorded history, and the impact has been disastrous. Since April, over 1,000 wildfires and three million acres of land have been burned, displacing thousands of residents, with more than 3,500 residents on evacuation alerts.

Local Business Lunch Program

We supported local businesses during the pandemic by providing over 2,500 paid lunches to our staff. Many small neighbourhood food-based businesses faced tough times with virtually no patrons, and we were beyond proud to help boost their traffic.

Anmore Friendly Forest Preschool

We donated and installed a handwashing station, complete with a high-end triple basin acrylic lavatory with auto facets and mixing valves, to help kids return to Anmore’s Friendly Forest Preschool safely during COVID-19.

Aboriginal Community Career Employment Services Society (ACCESS)

To support meaningful careers in skilled trades for the urban Indigenous community, we provided an in-kind contribution to ACCESS worth $122,500 in training, mentorship and paid work experience for five apprentices.

Fort McMurray Forest Fire Relief

Many of us had family, friends, and colleagues who were impacted by devastating Fort McMurray fires, so we raised over $10,000 for the basic necessities and support required to aid in the extensive relief effort.

In collaboration with our employees and partners, we’ve raised over $50,000 for Movember since 2015. These events have drawn more than 1,000 attendees, which has also helped us raise awareness for men’s health issues.
