The new Centre will feature modern teaching spaces, food labs, beverage research and development facilities, and welcoming common areas. Its reddish zinc cladding pays homage to the region’s wine-making and smoke-curing traditions. Inside, visitors will find a student-run restaurant (Infusions), specialized food labs for baking and confectionery, beverage tasting classrooms, glass-walled gathering spaces, and an accessible design enriched with Indigenous art elements throughout.

Mechanical Solution
Okanagan College Centre for Food, Wine & Tourism is located in Kelowna at the main campus of Okanagan College. It features multiple food and bakery labs along with classrooms and a fully functioning restaurant. True Mechanical will be doing the full mechanical installation for the school that includes plumbing, HVAC, gas, sheet metal, controls and fire protection. Ground was broken in June and the project is scheduled to be completed in January 2027
