Brock Commons south is a mixed use building located in the heart of the University of British Columbia. The mechanical room in the basement includes a district energy welded heating system, large heat exchangers, buffer tanks, base mounted pumps, expansion and storage tanks, and a 4 module chiller with over 400 tonnes of cooling.
True Mechanical acknowledges with gratitude the beautiful place where we live, work, and play. These lands are the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people, including the nations of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh [Ss-KAW-hoh-mesh] (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ [tSLAY-wah-tooth] (Tsleil-Waututh) and the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nation.
