On May 15, 2025, we officially opened the doors to our new office in Kelowna, marking a significant milestone in True Mechanical’s continued growth across British Columbia. This isn’t just a pin on the map — it’s a commitment to the Okanagan, its people, and its future.

From day one, the reception from the Interior construction community has been nothing short of fantastic. We’ve hit the ground running with several key projects that showcase the region’s diversity, potential, and ambition.
At Kelowna International Airport (YLW) — one of Canada’s fastest-growing airports — we’ve secured two contracts that support critical infrastructure upgrades. This airport has experienced record growth, with over 2 million passengers passing through in 2024 alone, reflecting the region’s upward trajectory.
We’re also proud to be part of BC Transit’s electric bus facility expansion — a smart, sustainable initiative that’s reshaping how communities move and aligning perfectly with our values around energy efficiency and climate-forward infrastructure.
And the crown jewel? The Okanagan College Centre for Food, Wine and Tourism. This is more than a job site — it’s a celebration of what makes the Okanagan exceptional: a place where education, hospitality, and innovation meet. We’re thrilled to be delivering the mechanical systems for this showcase facility that blends regional pride with forward-thinking design.

Innovative Building Projects in BC. Using New Developments in HVACR
British Columbia is home to some of Canada’s greenest buildings, such as UBC’s Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS). This building incorporates geothermal heat scavenging, solar energy, natural ventilation, and under-floor air distribution to achieve net-positive energy performance and Platinum LEED certification6. The BC Energy Step Code is pushing new homes toward “Net Zero Ready” status, meaning they are designed to produce as much energy as they consume when paired with renewable energy sources.
